The Residential Association structure
All owners are members of the McCarver Village Residiential Association.
A Board of directors and several Neighborhood Committees represent the members. While still under construction, we are
in what the CC&Rs refer to as the "Class B" control period, which means that the property developers make up the Board
or appoint others to be on the Board. This year, two property developers and one homeowner are serving on the Board.
The Board works for the entire Residential Association and will eventually include about one Board member from each Neighborhood.
Each neighborhood will have its own Neighborhood Committee that works under the Board and within its own neighborhood.
Each neighborhood will also elect a Board member who will also serve as a member of that particular neighborhood's committee.
Each Neighborhood Committee will select one person to be the neighborhood "voting representative" to represent all the votes
of the neighborhood when membership votes are required.
The Board
This year, two property developers and one homeowner are serving on the Board. The Board works for the entire Residential
Association and will eventually include about one Board member from each Neighborhood. The Board is responsible
for collecting homeowners dues, enforcing and amending CC&Rs, and maintenance of the common areas. Board meetings
are open to Residential Association members.
